"I met Jatin at his duplex listing in Berkeley. He took my call late on a Friday night and dropped everything to set up a showing for me. Though we didn’t move forward with that particular property I learned quickly the type of agent Jatin was. He was very accommodative, patient and listened to my needs. Jatin continued to follow up with me for months and I could tell he was motivated to earn my business. We toured countless properties from SFR to 4-unit buildings and he guided me on how to write strong offers in the competitive Oakland market. I ultimately got into a contract on a condo in Uptown by writing a strong pre-emptive offer. While in escrow we ran into a fairly large problem. The appraisal came in $80,000 below and I had already removed all our contingencies. Jatin worked his magic and negotiated a $60,000 price reduction! I didn’t think I had a chance since all my contingencies were removed, but Jatin somehow found a way."

This is how he found our last deal: He drove by a boarded-up duplex on one of the most sought after streets in Berkeley. He looked up the owner’s name, googled his number and then proceeded to call the owner. Jatin convinced a guy he never met to join him for lunch. He got to know the owner and his goals/plans for his property. Then Jatin pitched me and my partner the deal and presented the owner with our offer. After multiple counter offers we ultimately lost the deal to another buyer. Even when we didn’t have the deal Jatin stuck with it and communicated with all parties. 45 days after losing the deal, the deal fell out of escrow and Jatin got us into contract at the price we wanted. From the start this deal was not easy, but the whole way through Jatin kept a positive mindset and navigated multiple obstacles to close the transaction. In 4 months we will coming back to market and Jatin will be our listing agent.
